BIBLIOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY GOLD MEDAL

From time to time the Society awards a Gold Medal for distinguished services to bibliography to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the development of the subject and the furtherance of the Society’s aims. Forty-three awards have been made since the Medal Fund was established in 1929; recipients since 1990 have been Robin Alston, Nicolas Barker, Peter Davison, Ian Doyle, Bernhard Fabian, Mirjam Foot, Lotte Hellinga, Don McKenzie, David McKitterick, Henri-Jean Martin, Paul Needham, Dennis Rhodes, G. Thomas Tanselle and Andrew Watson.

Residential Scholarships for PhD/Post-Doc Scholars at Vittore Branca Center (Venice)

The “Vittore Branca” International Center for the Study of Italian Culture offers two different types of residential scholarships to scholars wishing to spend a research period in Venice between May 2016 and May 2017: 6 months (PhD) and 3 months (post-doc).

G. Thomas Tanselle Awarded Society's Gold Medal

G. Thomas Tanselle has been chosen as the recipient of the Society’s 2015 Gold Medal.  A date for the presentation in London will be announced in due course.
